The 2012 Fall Southern Home & Garden Show sponsored by Stock Building Supply promises to be another great event giving homeowners and potential homeowners a real taste of what’s new for inside and outside the home – all under one roof.
With more than 200 exhibitors, the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show gives you a comprehensive look at just about everything available for the home from landscaping to interior design. Produced by the Home Builders Association, the Southern Home & Garden Show has been the unofficial kickoff to spring in the Upstate for 52 years. A second show was added in 2009 for fall-focused consumers typically interested in outdoor living, do-it-yourself fix-ups, remodeling, whole house renovations, landscaping, gardening, interior design and holiday decorating.
The 4th Annual Fall Southern Home & Garden Show is coming Sept. 28-30 to TD Convention Center. In addition to exhibits, title sponsor Stock Building Supply will bring in the latest selections available from product manufacturers JeldWen Windows & Doors, PrimeSource, US Lumber, Mid Continent Cabinetry, James Hardie and IKO Roofing Products.
The Fall Southern Home & Garden Show allows you to compare companies, products, and prices without driving or calling all over town. That shortens the buying process and allows you to more quickly pursue your dream home or home improvement project. For those more interested in ‘doing it yourself’, The Home Depot will hold daily hands-on workshops at the show’s seminar stage for tiling, painting, faux finishing and fall planting.
Rival Playhouses Giveaway
The show also will feature daily Kids Workshops where little show visitors can make a fall football themed project to take home. And speaking of football, be sure to visit the Rival Playhouses exhibit presented by Greenville Carpet One. Show visitors can register to win a Clemson or University of South Carolina playhouse, or two tickets to the Nov. 24 Clemson/USC matchup in Death Valley. Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the show on Sunday, September 30, at 6 p.m. Other companies contributing to the Rival Playhouses giveaway are CertaPro Painters, GreenSouth Equipment, Overholt Wood n’ Craft, Sears Garage Solutions, Staggs Landscaping and Waldrop Heating & Air.
Dueling Designers
If you’re more into interior design than interior linemen, there is something at the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show for you, as well. This year’ show will feature Dueling Designers where you will get a look at some of the latest trends in home interiors and have a chance to vote for your favorite interior design vignette. Our Dueling Designers are Bogari, ID Studio Interiors, Sandy Hankins/ SH Designs and The Galleries of Brian Brigham. By voting, you will have the change to make a donation to each designer’s chosen charity.
Designers Sample Sale
And for the bargain hunters, the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show will include a Designers Sample Sale where you will find great prices on furniture and home accessories.
